I tell you, sometimes I dread Easter because it involves spending time with certain members of my family whom I enjoy being around less than I enjoy reading a book full of algebraic equations (Please note there are a great many relatives I do enjoy spending time with ... but it's that one or two who can sure ruin everything for everyone). Anyway, I encourage you - if you have any religious spirit at all, and even if you don't - to read some of Jesus' teachings (particularly his story, which can be found in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. All convieniantly placed side by side). I encourage you to remember Easter as more than just a family dinner, plus an abundance of Cadbury(TM) mini-egg commercials consuming your television screen. Remember Easter for what it really is: salvation, truth, and rebirth. Even take the next step and talk with others about it, as I'm doing now.
Also, I've posted my very first story on DA titled 'The Gargoyle and The Mermaid' and I'd love for you to read it and share your thoughts. It's quite different from my normal style (fantasy) as it's actually a Christian Fairytale written to expand and grow my style. I thought it'd be perfect for the whole Easter theme. Have a very happy Easter everyone!! God bless.

Little Easter Prayer!

On this beautiful day of rebirth and joy ...
Help us listen with our soul, not with out ears.
Help us see with our heart, not with our eyes.
Help us speak with the truth, not with our lips.
Help us be faithful every day, not just Sunday.
Help us form your image, not Satan's.
Help us share love, hope, and happiness
With those all around us, forever.
Amen!
